Weeping Openly

Something about this time of the year welcomes crying. It just feels good to cry. And I'm a pretty big crier. I will cry at anything. Old man in a diner eating jello alone. Boom - waterworks. A little girl with a cow-eyepatch underneath a pair of glasses - BOOM. I'm a mess.

But there is nothing like being alone in your home and crying while watching TV. In the last 2 weeks, I've cried while watching the following:

- Freaks and Geeks
- Peanuts Christmas Special
- Roman Holiday
- ER
- Law and Order
- Sweet Charity
- Project Runway
- Law and Order SVU
- Martha Stewart's Talk Show

This either makes me adorable or mentally ill. I will vote for the former.

HAPPY NEW YEARS!

I think you'd have to be a robot not to cry at Freak and Geeks. I'm a robot and I still almost lost it -- especially in the final episode, and the one where you see Bill home alone after school eating cheese slices and watching Garry Shandling on TV.

I cry almost exclusively while watching commercials. Not even poignant commercials...but ones for banking and vitamins.

Jackie,

Didn't you cry during that one scene in "Frosty the Snowman" after Karen was crying like Dick Vermeil after Frosty melted away after beling locked in the greenhouse by the evil Mr. Hinkle?

I cry basically thruout ALL of Freaks and Geeks. From opening credit to closing song. I am a mess. Commercials - I am sad to admit - I only fall for the manipulative ones only. Like men with babies and crap like that. The Daniel Franco PR - OH MY GOD! LOST IT! When Tim Gunn was all like - you have dignity. Baby I am for realsie going to follow my bliss. That guy is for real!
I didnt see the Frosty special this year. But sounds very weep worthy.
